Greyed out

For someone who knows what is going on in this update. I am at level 37 and all I can do is bait fish. All my spoons, Jigs, ect. are all greyed out as well as some rod and reels. Is there a reason for this. Thanks for the help

Your reels and gear are greyed out based on what pole is in the selected slot.

If they're greyed it means you can't put them on the rig because it's the wrong kind of rig - like using a floating rod and trying to throw a baitcaster on it, and you can't swap a rod with a different type - you have to remove it first. It's always been this way but the greying is new.

i had this and i found that it depends on what rod you have selected to equip in the menu,it will only show compatable/usable equipment for whats selected.ie if a float rod is highlited/selected only float tacke will be usable,all unusable equipment will be greyed out.hope this helps and tight lines

Hey Camproswarren!

The greying out is supposed to signalize which terminal tackle can or can not be used for the rods and reels equipped.

As Streaky noted the mechanics is the same as it used to be but the visual part is there to be more straightforward for users.

I have changed poles, reels, and other setups. How do you get to place on a leader, I can buy it but can never equip it?
