and its not as if bait would be sitting on you lap or in an overhead locker as part of you carry-on luggage, but insted would be in the cargo hold on commercial flights.
It has always frustrated me that local bait shops don't actually have the bait that works for that particular lake. IRL your local bait shop will have most everything that you will need as well as helpful hints on where the fish may be biting.
Mostly, I only think about this when I head to a lake not fully prepared. I did it today in the Everglades. I went there without shrimp. I mean, who does that?
So I look in the bait shop. Nope. Not sold here!
