Leaderboard fish

So, landed massive fish, doesn't show up on leaderboard fish, what is this?

How hard can it be to record fish landings, obviously beyond the developers, what a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nubs.

For what its worth I dont understand the leaderboards entirely either. Some of my fish are on the board but some arent. For example i have the world record for unique gar in NR. The #1 board fish is 23.177 mine is 23.194 . Mine has never been on the board.. Dont know why. Heres a screenie.

i caught my 19.081 kg trophy red drum 4 days ago but it's still not showing.

Leaderboard is definitly broken. I have had fish on the leasderboard not just get bumped but removed. FOr smaller fish?? You don't get pushed down the list you get bumped off the list. Is there a timer for the leaderboard?

They work based on a rolling basis, meaning any fish caught only lasts on the leaderboards for a certain amount of time, before being deleted of the leaderboards. There are currently no permanent leaderboards in the game. (for fish size at least)

It use to be leaderboard fish would take a day to show up.Now they show up in 2 or 3 hrs.
I caught a 60lb muskie a couple days ago and it showed up pretty quick. I think they stay on the board for 30 days.
the problem with the biggest fish staying on permanently is that eventually the hole board would be full of that size fish.
what i would like to see is a leaderboard that should all species of fish including the minnows :)

Yes, they are only on there for x amount of time, and then the board is refreshed on the current largest until those get removed as well. forget the time.

As far as fish not showing up, it's not immediate.

hello, leaderboard is no updtodate. even the 'my fishes 'part is not uptodate. it"s a bug.
I noticed that too.
at least the catches remain in the profiles trophés

By reading these posts it's evident no one has a clue what's going on. Everyone has a different set of facts.

I noticed yesterday that not only did my big fish not show up on the leaderboards (after two days) but about half the fish I catch don't even display on the text screen as being acknowledged that they were even caught. That's a different issue, maybe packet loss or just a busy screen (lol 3 people in the map and conversations were instantly being displayed).

There are a lot of bugs, some detrimental to game play, some not. The leaderboard bug isn't detrimental unless you catch a big fish then never get the satisfaction of seeing it on the leaderboards. Not everyone is farming.

I know exactly how you feel.I have caught the biggest Rainbow Outlaw since the beginning of time. 43.800lb but it dosent show in the record page.Its in my profile page and i took pics too but dosent register as Nbr1.

I don't see the point of a leaderboard if it resets for a month or so. Is it really hard to make it show the biggest fish ever caught? And that we can see the biggest fish caught by friends and so on through filters that already exist. They arranged the filters nicely and the leaderboard looks better after the update but I don't like that leaderboard isn't permanent, it only lasts for a certain amount of time. That doesn't make sense.

Fish leaderboard resets weekly and there is a reason for that. If it was permanent the board would be at this point for example

Yea alot of people dont realize, that the spread of fish size in fishing planet is really small. Which means that max weight fish are caught quite consistently. It's not like the tail end of the fish size distribution is very long like in RF4.

If the leaderboard was permanent i'd give it about a month or two before its filled with nothing but max weight fish.

Even the current leaderboards often looke like this, especially for heavily farmed fish. Where the first couple of fish are just max weight specimens. And the following fish are just .001kg lower. 25kg 25kg 25kg 25kg 24.999kg 24.998kg 24.997kg.
