Can i pause time?

So if i get a call or my kid pesters me i shut down FP to stop my fishing time wasting away while im briefly away from my computer....... Seems a rough way to solve the problem..... am i missing something? Can i pause time in-game?

While playing just go to your inventory and playing time will pause.

I notice that on the MAP tab the clock still moves forward. makes me nervouse.

going into inv works even in comps so if you need to do somthing even if doing a comp just reel in and open your inventory :D
