The cost of travel and permit per day isn't expensive and can be made back. You may have to spend a few days in the same location, but you will make it back sooner or later.

^^^^^this pluss yes at low lvl it is slightly harder to make money but you just need to keep playing throu the hard times dont waste money on new gear all the time he only thing you need to keep upgrading is keepnets/stringers my most used rod/reel combo was and still is the featherlight 210 and calisto mg3000 that combo works for a lot of different areas :d

Not everyone is playing die hard hours. Before you could play an hour and go. come back and even if the licence ran out it was as cheap as chips to just go buy another one. The economy we have now does not favour the players who do not live in the game all day. Something I added to a post the other day and I think this could work quite well

I'd like to see them do away with the ridiculous economy the way it is. Herding players to catch highest paying fish sort of derails the whole premise of the game. Why don't they pay same amount regardless of species but pay it on % of the largest fish possible example say biggest rainbow able to be caught was 10lb and you caught a 1lb and you got $200 then you went for a carp that was max size 60lb and you caught one 6lb you still get $200 as the % is the same. Then it wouldn't matter what fish you wanted to go for. It would make it a lot more enjoyable for everyone don't you think?

im able to make back the travel and day fees fine its licenses that kill me because i may only have 15-30mins to play in a day, or sometimes even less, its impossible to make back the license fees many times.

lousiana is another story, its just pricy

unreal travel costs/catch rewards with the new update...Travelling to Missouri for one day costs almost 2k dollars...and 1.5kg smallmouth buffalo (which is really hard to catch) rewards just 75 dollars...i think its waaaay too unbalanced...

So waht if you want to fish all the tournies that are in the day? All the licences and the travel. Even if your on a high $ paying fish lake you will soon end up skint.

Travel and licences should be cheaper for premium account holders.

No no and no. Premium should be much much cooler than that.

For me I'd like to see Premium head toward different gameplay. Like premium accounts unlock certain pegs in lakes. Premium accounts can play different comps etc. Something that changes the way we play.

I know either bass15lb or lady0fgames mentioned this on a stream one or two months ago, but how about if you're a Premium member you could get 'premium' tackle that is unlocked in the game once you level up.

Yep same idea. And I like it.

Well, I see back in 2017 prices must have been higher than they are now in 2023, so in 2017 the price stated for Missouri was 2k, in 2023 its 1200 travel and 400 for the licence, still not a great change is it. Come on guys, this is a game, not our lives. Most of us don't have the time to just sit and cyberfish, get maybe 30 to 60 minutes a day, tops. Oh and while we are at it premium bundles, really, its pixels, people would buy more if they were reasonable prices, I could buy a real life setup and licence for the whole of the country I live in for less than you offer.

I'm agree that travel cost in the early game (when your keepnet is small) is too high and it become gradually irrelevant in the late game, when one single big fish pay back travel cost and sometimes the licence too.
Fishing4Trains Mar 23, 2023 @ 7:53am
It can be a bit daunting when you're a beginner, added to the price of the license. But it's doable if you research the water first, see what baits the various fish want and take plenty of it in case you have to stay a few days until you make a profit. As the game goes on it becomes much less of a problem. On the European lakes, and some others, take enough groundbait too. Try and upgrade your keepnet asap too.
