Bowfishing in the Future
Is bowfishing ever going to be added to this game? That would add another element to attract more users.

Seriously? that doesn't even deserve to have the name fishing added to it. For the most part anglers return their catches unharmed. It is all about the sport of engaging one of natures great cretures in a battle not arming yourself with a bow and arrow to slay a sitting duck and calling that fishing. It couldn't be further from what fishing is. It' is hunting pure and simple and probably came about because the people that do it a crap at catching with a rod and reel :)

If they add bowfishing I'll never return to the game.

LOL, really, bow fishing is nothing more than a redneck pastime, after a few 18 packs you move up to a 12 gauge, bahaha, no room for that nonsense in this game.

lmao why would you want to return a species of fish that is destroying the ecosystem back into the water? Ever heard of carp? Yeah they are an invasive species. BTW been catching 40 inch pike since I was 12 but nice try bud ;)

carp are native to almost all waterways in north america theres alot fish invasive fish in certain states that are native in another state like pike not they are fun but when they are introduced to a waterway not common for them for any reason its no different then introducing a fish like a snake head fish.

This is actually false. Carp were brought to the United States in the 1800's to be placed in fisheries to keep the water clean, some ended up in rivers and streams before we realized hoqw fast they can overpopulated resulting in les habitat and food for the native fish species.

actually that doesnt work, water slows down a bullets ALOT and it wouldnt even phase the fish most likely.

id also like to see you be accurate enough with an arrow to even hit a damn fish, much less after a 18 pack. seems to me that would deserve a hell of alot of respect.

that being said they have bigger fish to fry right now, definetly not happening soon

Haha, the whole comment was an attempt at humor nothing more, I was simply trying to drive home the point that bowfishing is a pastime at best and really has no place in a serious fishing sim.
