Go down to the pipe grip and place the lighter there. Then go back upstairs to the broken banister and use the pool cue from there.
I couldn't figure this out because before I had the cue, I tried using the lighter on the grip and it resulted in dying from the explosion so I figured why would I try that again.
And while we're at it, can someone please explain the logic from the puzzle in this room to me? I only was able to get passed it (the water drowning) with said walkthrough and even when I watched it I had no clue how I would have been supposed to get this combination right. With 6 variables possiblities are infinite!
Please allow me one more question. Why are there buttons for saving and loading a game when the game automatically saves and won't allow me to manually save at certain points?
I just died opening a gate and got flooded with gas. The automatic save throws me back into the tubes even before I did the methane trick and I have to do the whole thing again. I would love to create my own savegame in the new area and as these buttons are available but are being useless I was wondering if this might get implemented in the future?
STASIS will autosave before you die and will reload that slot if you die, if you exit to a menu, STASIS will also autosave your game - you can then click continue game at any time to carry on playing from your last position.
You cannot save when the game is:
In a quicktime event
During a conversation
During an animation (death etc)
Nic
Anyways, thanks for explaining. You made my life easier just once more again :)
