Can an exisiting SONAR 2017 pro user buy 2018 season pass upgrade? Or is it just for the new users?

Yes, standalone 2018 passes will be coming out soon. We're in the final testing stages with Valve. Store packages need to be swapped out and only they can do that.

Hi! Tell me please: If I buy Sonar Platinum now then what will happen to my Sonar Home Studio? I'll have both Sonars in my steam library ready for use or Home Studio will be replaced by a new Sonar Platinum? How to reinstall Sonar from Home Studio to Platinum correctly after purchase?

SONAR Home Studio and SONAR Professional/Platinum will install to the same locations by default. Effectively upgrading Home Studio. You can also uninstall Home Studio first and then install SONAR (recommended). Platinum will include everything you have with Home Studio and more. You projects are saved outside the steam library by default, and Platinum will be able to load all your existing projects.

To further clarify, there will be two Steam library items. SONAR Home Studio and SONAR.

Hey Seth, I have purchased the Pro to Platinum 2017 upgrade a couple of days ago in the Haloween sale. Can you please confirm that I will get the 2018 season pass as part of that purchase please.

Also where do I go for a technical question that is not being answered on the steam discussions? I have 2 PCs in my house that I use with Steam/Sonar depending on time of day. The PC where I purchased the Sonar upgrade works fine but when I move to the other location and boot up Steam, it does the big update then when I launch Sonar it wants me to resister Sonar again (which I should not need to do), and if I do try to register it complains with an error. I normally just close down Sonar and Steam on the first PC the Startup Steam and Sonar on the second without issue.

Please Advise as I have also spent £250 on Sound plugings that I want to play around with!
