Random Note Drop-Out

I just installed SONAR. I'm using the soft synths and I'm getting random note dropouts during playback (tried a number of different ones, same problem). Sometimes a note will play and sometimes it won't. I've tried increasing the number of MIDI buffers (suggested online); no dice. Anyone else have this problem?

This is ususally resolved by upping your MIDI Playback Buffer.

Edit > Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording.

You'll see a section that says 'Prepare playback using xxxx buffers'. This is only a pre-roll setting, so it won't impact your recording. It's safe to set this up to 1000.

This should resolve any intermittent note playback issues.
