In the transport, there will be a metronome record and playback button. Make sure the one you want is selected.
Also, go to Edit > Preferences > Project > Metronome. In there you can look at the metronome settings and see if everything is set properly. You could even A/B it with a new project.
Finally, check the metronome bus. Make sure that hasn't been muted or routed to a different output.
And I'm pretty sure that I clicked on both metronome record and playback button.
the settings in Edit > Preferences > Project > Metronome in current and new projects are the same.
And muted and output are same too.
Maybe it's a bug?
Is there a way you could share the project with me?
Just zipping up the project folder should be okay. If you want, you can PM me privately with the link.
Maybe there's some settings I didn't notice.
Thank's for your help!

Press the 'E' key and it will toggle them back on.

I will never know that without your help, Thanks a lot!
It can work now! Thanks again!
Yup, the Metronome is just a plugin in the background, tied into the UI. Enjoy!
