Arturia Collection V not working as plugins into Sonar x64
Hello,

I have the Arturia Collection V, but I am unable to use it in Sonar x64. I wanted to use Arturia Spark as a track but I was unable to. For testing, I tried using Analog Lab 2 (another plug from the same suite) and I was not able to get it to work except in Sonar 32bit. The issue is that the plug will load and recieve Midi Machine Commands, but I get no sound at all from the plugins, except for Analog Lab 2 in 32 bit mode (Spark is not available in 32bit mode).

Any recommendations?

Hmm, mine work just fine. How about stand alone application ? Is it work ok ?

Yes, I forgot to mention this. The standalone applications work perfectly. I also check with spark on LMMS (free DAW and vst2 host) and I stil don't get sound. I think this might be a problem with plugin version of Arturia Spark.

Does it not show up in SONAR or does it show up but not work?

Have you made sure SONAR's scan paths are looking at the x64 directory?

The Sonar x64 see the plug ins and loads the gui as normal, and it even recieves midi (via MMC). However, when I load the instrument in my project, the audio is non-functional. I was able to once get sound out of it with a empty project, but I don't know what the difference is.

Maybe it not relate to midi. How about using mouse click on pad in spark gui vst, did you can hear the sound ?

I appreciate the input guckzilla, I have both tried midi from Sonar and click on pads in the Spark 2 plugin GUI and I don't hear sound.

Remember that you have to assign VST instruments to an audio output bus and then make sure that the bus chain ends up sending output to your speakers (audio output device).

Cakewalk does not do the assignments automatically for you with VST instruments like it will with TTS-1.

I will double check that, I usually don't have issues when using 3rd party plugins such as Korg Legacy Collection, Roland Store plugins, etc.

I recently change the audio device from one type to another (AISO -> WDM/KS) and back again because I could not create a new document because while the window was open I was getting a weird AISO dialog popup over and over again that I could barely read because it would disappear and when I reloaded the project I wanted Spark in, the sound started working. Not sure why.

Thank you to everyone for the help!
