might be a refund i think because i am sick of being on the grid putting my rift on and it wants to redo the bloody guardian even though its disabled!
This happens like 9 times out of ten hey, very annoying. Not once did i ever have this issue with my CV1 rift, not bloody once.
Sorry man, wish I could be more use, when it used to happen to me it was super frustrating, I feel bad for you
Third race, sure enough on the grid, put headset back on and "We cannot detect your play area" lol.
I asked them for a reg key to disable it but i might try the beta. The HDM sits right next to my monitor at arms length ffs so i know it aint going outside the play area.
Anyway i will plug along
What fixed it in the end was going to C:\programes\oculus\supportand reinstalling the driver.
Havent had one issue since and so much for oculus support, was pathetic at best
Gotta look into some setups because right now im having pretty bag tearing (or lag, stutter or whatever the name is) and one freeze already!?
Thanks
After the last update i had to do this again and also the sound was very low and after doing the driver re-install it came back to full sound levels.
Also i use a iPhone set of speakers plugged in to the rift and sort of wind it around the HDM a few times and then feed it through the loop so just a little bit hangs down and i can plug them in to my ears, its not neat but it works really good and better than a full headphone set over your rift.
Just goto C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-drivers and run that
Great!
Can you play with both controller off? Like batterie removed..
Anyway, i took the batteries out so i dont even need the controllers with car racing games like pcars.
They felt better in my hand and batteries lasted ages.
The new ones are OK but not as good for me personally
for the Rift S can you turn them off while playing with the steering wheel?
Seems like mine need to be close and with the batterie in otherwise oculus looking for them?? so annoying
