New player trying to pick Wheel, help me out. Thanks.
hello peeps

I'm about to go for Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition for 101 USD and I'm seeing Logitech Momo (FFB system inc.) for 82 USD. Also I'm new to racing games, do you think this is a great option? Which one should I opt for? Heard it has no Force feedback system (The Thrustmaster), does that even matter?

Thanks for reading!

If you are planning to purchase a wheel for use with this title, I would recommend selecting something from their compatibility list:

Just my opinion, I would go for a Thrustmaster T150.

2nd hand options are tiny here, sad to know.. Would love to have T150 as well if it was cheaper.

I can't recommend either of the two wheels you mentioned. I would recommend saving up for something better rather than getting something inexpensive and not having support needed.

First of all, any wheel is better than No wheel, but wheels with Force Feed Back are essential if you want to maximise realism or if you become serious about Racing Games/Sims, my advice is buy a wheel with Force Feed back and 3 pedals, a gear shifter isn't essential at first, but buy a wheel that supports an upgrade gear shifter package, The Logitech G29 is PC & PS4 compatible, Logitech G920 is PC & Xbox compatible, (in their price range) they are IMHO the best build quality of any entry level wheel, The Thrustmaster equivalent is the T150 the main difference is the Thrustmaster use belt drives which are generally quieter but the belt can slip over time, the Logitech use a gearing cog system less likely to slip out of place but can be slightly noisier, if you don't set them up properly in game..

My advice...Don't waste money on a wheel without FFB +3 Pedals and optional upgradeable gear shifter , you will probably regret it if you do, the G29, G920 and the Thrustmaster T150 Pro +T3PA pedals are entry level wheels and everything below that price range is basically a toy, some Sim racers would argue that these are both toys too , but they are decent toys Lol.. save your money and buy the Logitech G29 or G920. GL hope that helps.
