codemasters are really good at making a game better oriented for single player, when nfs shift came out, that was the thing i most enjoyed about it, the upgrading system, the cars i had to buy, and the general feel of the game, while it is still felt in pc2, its not the same and i think codemasters are going to help on that regard a lot.
wait for the game to come out and dont be a child
PC3 was announced in Dec 18, Codemasters bought SMS in Nov 19, so I can't see them influencing them that much.
Budging by what is on their website they seem to have focused on aspects asked by the community.
To quote Ian Bell:

Judging by their words it seems like a 'proper' sequel to PC2 but with more gameplay/progress options both for SP and MP. On paper seems amazing, I wouldn't be too worried.

Unfortunately we have also seen gameplay videos and they look like that:

Yeah I have seen them yesterday, I'm not impressed either; it's still advertising material though, what I meant is we don't have any 'actual' gameplay vid from players or reviewers.
Welp, there will always be Asserto Corsa I suppose.
By the way, if you don't like PCars3, then don't buy it. Other people may like it just fine.
I hope there is a lot more to PC3 than that.
I hate the sound of 'car upgrades' that's just typical lame unrealistic stuff that I tend to hate in console racing games. I don't like the sound of unlockable tracks either. Again more unrealistic gamey stuff that we have in loads of other games that I have deliberately stayed away from. I play PC2 for the realistic UK career - real GT cars, real UK tracks, real GT/LMP progression. That is all I want.
I bet they dont even have mouse menu control in the new game like F1 2019. Consoles grrr.
I am trying to stay positive but tbh this is sounding like its going to be absolute pants! Codemasters might have just ruined the whole game for me. If its going down the Forza route I definitely wont be buying it. And until now PC has been one of my all time favourite games.
I was really hoping they would introduce mid races saves to enable long Endurance races, and perhaps enhance the career by adding some sort of race team management aspects like F1 2020 is doing. But it sounds like they are going in completely the wrong direction instead with the new game - arcade street racing with unlockables. That is like the WORST thing I could have heard.
PC was always THE serious GT/LMP sim and now it might be just going all Forza! I am soooo disappointed :-(
Massive ups and downs this week lol:
Yesterday's Elite Dangerous announcement FINALLY! about atmospheric planets and spacelegs, and then this lol.
I CANT TAKE ANY MORE !!!
Don't be daft lol. It's supposedly about 0.036% of the galaxy has so far been explored by the community. I am happy to say that one barren rock of a planet on the way to the Pleiades has my name to it!
Guess the devs will have to put in the wormholes at some point to help out. No one's gonna be able to finish this game in one life time.
