If you go for more single player experience, deluxe for sure.
Deluxe have much more content, I spent over 100h at PC2 and I used just some 10 to 20% of the tracks and some 10% or less of the cars.
Still, I noticed you have some NFSs at your account.
PC2 is not a NFSm, just be aware that driving cars like a NFS car will make your car either spin with oversteer or go wide offtrack understeering by using too much throttle, can make your car lose the ballance if you turn left and right too fast, what again can cause your car to either spin or go wide offtrack, also locking wheels in case you use too much brake.

In case you want a more "easier to drive", that resembles more a NFS car, try the Formula X, but it still may spin a lot.
If you want to start learning better, try the Ginetta G40 Junior and then the Ginetta G40 GT5.

PC2 is not bad if you never had a simulator and want to start.

yeah I've tried the demo PC2 and it's much different from the other racing games I've played. Maybe playing with actual steering wheels would help?

That because NFS is a full arcade game, PC2 is a simulator that is lenient with your mistakes.

It is PC1 but at PC2 it works the same:

You can check I am braking on straights and if I brake too much, or have too much brake applied when I start turning, the car go wide or straight with wheels locked.

ACC is much less lenient with mistakes but:

You can check throttle and brake inputs at the video.

These are driving simulators, mistakes are punished with you locking wheels and going wide or offtrack in case of too much brake, spinning oversteering or going wide understeering in case of too much throttle, losing balance of the car if you jerk the wheel left and right or too wild.

In case you are driving with keyboard, you need gentle and fast taps to throttle, brake and steering keys through the turns and using full brake just before the turn, full throttle just after the turn and full turn just when the car is at position and you are not full braking or full throttle.

In case you are driving with controller it work the same, but if you are using brake and throttle at the triger buttons, you can apply more or less brake and throttle, making it easier, also if you are using the analog stick for turning, you can use more or less of the steering wheel too.

A wheel makes a universe of difference, not only at the precision you get but also the feeling, you really feel the car and track through the FFB and it is amazing.
A simulator also deliver the experience of you learning to drive better at each turn, a thing that is automatically delivered by the arcade as all turns are easy to be done at an arcade game.

The feeling of his car through the FFB, is amazing too.

(yes, it is a hard as brick wheel with shaking all around like the shakings showing at the video).

Each car delivers a different experience and the experience vbary between games, but PC2 have similar cars to that McLaren MP4/8.

I use a Logitech G29 and after having it, I dont play any sim without.
I started at PC1 and PC2 with Keyboard then with PS4 controller but, after I got the G29, I never looked back and got the taste for it.
When I want to play more arcade games, I play with controller or keyboard.

Also, when you go for a sim and get the taste for it, you hardly will go back to arcade games, they will be fun but wont deliver the same feelings.
