Is In-Home Streaming possible with this game?
Tried Moonlight and the buit-in in-home streaming from Steam but it lags so much that it is unplayable. Played other games with no problems whatsoever. Is there a fix or it broken at the moment?

Do you have UDP enabled in PC2?

Many people stream. PC2 is not your average game so your system may not be powerful enough to play and stream at the same time.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I started with the lowest setting (with 800x600 res) for it so PC capability is not it. Played other games on high settings with the same set up. It's just that PCARS 2 is having this issue. I've read somewhere that PCARS 1 had this bug before? Thanks anyways

Also to be clear, I want to stream the game just in the next room with a cable attached and not through Wifi. I just want to play it in another room where I can place my sim rig without having to take my PC across.

Okay, Steam has this feature called In-Home Streaming wherein you can play your games on another PC or MAC though the internet within the same network in your home. Like a remote desktop thing but for games. So if want to play something on Steam, let's say on the living room, but my PC is on my room all I have to do is bring my laptop and stream the game from there. Easy peasy.

Now, PCARS 2 doesn't work a good as the other games I've played. When In-Home streaming was in beta, some games don't work. So, I'm wondering if it still is the case now or that I've found a problem with the game.

I think that I have UDP enabled since the last time I played it was with a telemetry reader. I'll check in a while.

the UDP thing solved my problem hehe

Yes. Most standard home routers don't handle broadcast traffic well (if at all). If you upgrade your home router to something more capable, you'll be able to do the streaming you want with UDP enabled.
