How is this game for single player no wheel?
Reviews aren't good - but I don't have a wheel, and i don't care for multiplayer in racing games, mainly due to the gripes in the negative reviews, yeah..like that's a project cars only issue :p

But it's hard to filter out how the actual game is. I've played so many hours in GTSport and Forza 6/7 (also a FH3 but I don't care for that)

I've put a fair few hours in the original PC's on my PS4 but that is the one game that makes the system scream, literally...the fans spin so hard I honestly think the PS4 is going to take off. PC is the only game that does this except for a couple, but even the worst offenders aren't even close to what PC's sound like - and no, the system does _not_ need a clean, it's the model.

Is there a lot of content for single player? is it decent enough?

Well i play with an XBOX 360 Controller and i enjoy the game a lot.Yeah i know, for the best experience you need a wheel i don't want to spend my money on a wheel currently and i feel more comfortable playing with a controller.

As for the Single Player part, the Carrer is big and you will use every class from the game. You can also create your custom races or just cruise around the circuit with any car you want. You have over 180 cars (if you don't buy any DLC) and over 60 circuits to choose from. Also, you have this new Weather system and personally this is a must have in every racing game. Choose a RWD car and set the weather to Heavy snow with snow on the road and you will have a lot of fun. You also have a Time Trials section where you can choose a circuit and a car and beat other player's times.

There are a lot of bad reviews about this game but personally i think it worth the money. There are some bugs present but i'm sure they will fix them.

If you want a single player game where you collect cars like GT / Forza, not good. For going through an actual racing driver career, it's really good.

I wouldn't say GTSport is a car collection game. It also lacks weather, which is the one thing I'm after, Forza also sucks in this regard with no Rain and night tracks, and not so many rain ones. It's not even Dynamic where people try to claim it is. It's pre-set, there's a big difference.

It's the driving itself I am interested in, also with a lot of rain.

Uggh, I thought 7 Single player was terrible. It featured nothing new, and the set ups were pretty boring with almost identical rotations - Normal race, normal race, rain OR night race, normal race, finish. Followed by the specials being an endurance, autocross etc etc.

Forza 6 on the other hand, the car selections just felt better (More cars =/= better cars, as some of the lists in 7 were just terrible) it had the top gear team, mods were superiour in every way. I put hundreds and hundreds in FM6 but probably 40-50 in 7.

It's a good game definitely worth a buy. If the first game made your ps4 run hot then this probably will to but I had first game on Xbox and I never had any problems. Don't listen to the bad reviews. it's very similar to the first game but a bit better with more cars and tracks and now has rally cross

Yeah the rain here does significantly change the racing dynamics. Sometimes your favorite corner gets flooded on the inside or the braking zone is full of puddles, and you're forced to improvise. You'd also need to gamble between changing to dry / wet tires right now or take the overheat / aquaplane risks. It's brutal and lovely.
