Is there an option to match the virtual steering wheel in-game?
Or am I missing something here? I play with a Logitech G29 Steering Wheel, and it seems that I always have to turn my wheel 900 degrees for every car. I believe that NOT every car has 900 degree steering. This makes driving F1 and GT cars very difficult, as I have to turn my wheel 900 degrees to reach 360 degrees in-game, and same for GT. So is there any way to match my G29 to the virtual steering wheel in-game? Assetto Corsa is a good example, my steering wheel matches the virtual steering wheel for all the cars. I want to do the same for PC2.

It should be a non-issue. I have never had this problem with my G29. You might wanna check your logitech profile and make sure ur wheel is set to default rotation degrees 900 I think. But in the game, you have to press "calibrate wheel" at the wheel selection menu, this will ensure your wheel is calibrated correctly, regardless of your wheel settings.

When I play rFactor 2 on my T-GT wheel, it changes the control panel max rotation degrees of my wheel to match that game, being 450 degrees or so, for gt3 cars. This causes the project cars 2 in-game wheel to seem more sensitive, because it was calibrated when my wheel was set to 900 degrees of max rotation. So everytime I play rFactor 2, I have to go to control panel and manually change the max rotation settings of my wheel to default, which is 900 degrees for me.

Aha! Found the problem. I just forgot to setup a profile in the profiler.

Nevermind, still the same problem

calibrate your wheel ingame, it matches all the time with my fanatec wheel after calibrate.

Yup, that's what I did, 900 degrees steering. Let my try recalibrating once again...

I guess I'll stick to Assetto Corsa for now until somebody helps me

@PSP
I got the oposite setting with my wheel, fanatec profile software is off/auto and in hardware i got fixed 330°, not sure if you can set wheel angle/sensitivity inside the hardware but i do and i verifie this with calibration in Pcars or AC, working fine in sync.

if that dont help, uninstall logitech software/restart windows/ manually delete files that not uninstalled and install logitech software again.

maybe a stupid question, but did you choosed your G29 Wheel layout in pcars2?

Possible u calibrate something wrong in pcars2? maybe read carefull how to set up the calibration... i dont know :(

If im calibrate my wheel, i turn it full left side and press next. After that 90° right and it showed 330° in the window and this way i can verifie i found the perfect 90° spott.

there are activate mods in official pcars2 forum that maybe assist you too.

I did choose G29 and recalibrated almost 10 times already. I did try reinstalling the logitech profiler, reinstalling the game, setting the game as administrator, but none of those work.

But this was pcars1 and i dont know which file, all i know i lost all my inputs on this game.
And it wasnt related to documents/project cars folder.

My problem is about my steering wheel not matching the virtual steering wheel, not game crashes :/

Seems like nobody knows a fix. Wow, what a waste of my money. What a waste of 5 hours waiting for the game to download. :steamsalty:

Probably not the best forum to ask in. Suggest you ask again in the main forums.

Delete "C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Project CARS 2\ffb_custom_settings.txt" and then re-apply your settings, set logitech software to 900 degrees and make sure center steering is enabled (I dont change any other settings here), then in game configure the wheel and you shoulkd be good to go mate.

I cant see a G29 being much diff than my G27.

Also delete Documents\Project CARS 2\savegame\95282747\project cars 2\tuningsetups files , all of them and then re-apply your tune ups per car when you race them.

you can even try to format your C:\ drive and clean install for OS... there is something wrong.

That doesn't work.
