The weather system in Project Cars 2 ruined career mode for me

I don’t know if the devs read this forum or not but after all the hours I’ve put into this game, I just have to give feedback about the weather system. I like it, and I like how it effects my car as I drive...what I don’t like is how the weather has no impact on the AI. And I cannot stand how annoying it is to have to deal with rain and massive puddles in what feels like every other race in career mode. I mean, yea it’ll rain during a race, I get that, by why am I driving through a monsoon every few races?

I have very little desire to finish competing in career mode, I’m done with it. Racing should be challenging, but not where I am slipping and sliding my way through the track while the AI breezes through with little to no impact during rain. It becomes too frustrating to deal with.

For me was that and the AI skill in general. In some tracks and categories I had to put it at 120 skill because they were just slow, even thru straights, in other tracks I had to lower it at 80 because I'd get 6 seconds per lap during wet races. This game could have been saved, if only they'd put more effort on the AI and some specific categories rulesets. What made me get PC2 was the fact that was sim enough and had a single player career and native VR support. Good for some fun with less problems like planning a championship or be online at a specific time. Too bad the single player experience was bad. And as a sim in multiplayer is probably my last choice.
