[SOLVED] Thrustmaster TMX Wheel Not Working
i recently started up project cars 2 after not playing for a while and was unable to get my wheel working, i googled it and saw that having a ticked box in steams controller settings is sometimes the issue along with having the project cars 2 folder in documents having an issue so i removed the folder and let steam make another one as well as unticking all the boxes, however this had no effect. My wheel is working with all the correct drivers and runs perfectly on other games like eurotruck simulator

Any help is much appreciated

never mind i solved it. For anyone in future who finds this under your project cars settings in steam make sure that under general your steam input per game setting is on use your global input settings and not forced on or forced off.

Hope this helps

I am having the same issue but its not just the wheel, my pedals also dont work. I have a TMX Pro that worked beautifully till last years Steam updates. Now the racing wheel controllers are still recognized by Steam and in the games, but they dont work at all. I have multiple racing games and cant get it to work on any of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i have invested lots of $ in these games and cant get a refund.

Your Steam Client offers a controller interface, it can cause problems if you are using another driver/app/emulator for your device.

There is a switch to turn these settings on/off for each game. Right click on the game in steam library and choose properties. "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" ; “Use your Global Steam Input" for on, "Force Off" to disable. Select Force Off.

Some have reported this setting can change on its own when Steam client updates. Using big picture mode might also turn this switch back on.
