G29 problems
I use a Logitech G29 and I have encountered an issue where my wheel will work while navigating the menus, but as soon as I enter a race and get onto the track it doesn't work at all. All of my controls are set correctly, and my FFB settings are to my liking. It worked just a couple days ago, but now it won't. Are there any known fixes?

Maybe your power plug is loose. It causes this problem. Or you can reopen Logitech Gaming Software,as an administrator.

It couldn't be that, I'm sure of. I checked a couple other games and the wheel worked just fine. It seems to only have a problem working when I am in a race, whether it be practice, a race, or whatever. It works just fine in the main menu, however.

I have found that unplugging the wheel from usb and then restarting Logitech Gaming Software solves it for me.

IF not already try plugging into standard USB try not to use usb3. Logitech seems to have issues with usb3

I had the same issue. Windows Creator Update was the likely culprit for me. I had to reinstall the wheel's software and restart a few times. Seemed to work OK after that.

Are you on Windows 10? My G25 has issues that resolve themselves after reinstalling the driver, and I think the G25/27/29 all use the same driver. (Specifically, the Logitech Gaming Software will randomly detect my G25 as a Driving Force Pro, and thus not recognize the H-shifter and clutch or any of the buttons.)

I am on Windows 10. Luckily, the problem seems to have fixed itself. Not sure what it was all about.

I think they have stopped supporting the Logitech g29 or feels like it all the newer games run off the default profile which pisses me off sometimes in games that I like less wheel turn. I think I will waste my time and put in a complaint on their website.
I made a little programm to fix this, but it's only working for the G29. Look up the Readme file. You can change it manually, but you have to do this everytime.

why bother with an exe when a you could have just exported the registry value and paste the text file here and tell people to save as a .reg file!

Try to set your g29 as g27 at PC2, it worked for me and I didnt need to touch it again to fix.
