Post your G27 ffb settings here!
What are the best/most realistic ffb settings on the Logitech G27 wheel? I'm not sure if mine are good or not, it already feels not bad to me but I am curious on what settings you guys are running! I want to feel exactly what the car is doing.

Mine are the following:

InGame:

Type: Immersive
Amplitude: 70%
Intensity: 50%
Ton: 50%
FX: 40%
Spring: 0,40

Profiler:

Effects strength: 100%
Spring: 0%
Damper: 0%
Centering Spring disabled

EDIT:

Currently I'm using:
Type: Informative
FX: 15%

Feels lot better for racecars + streetcars. May not be as realistic as raw, but it's the best for the g27 in my opinion.

Raw, starting from Gain: 100%, 60%, 50%, 40%. Find it perfect. Like to play with Intensity sometimes when particular car does not transfer grip loss properly.

FX: 0%
.. idk about you guys, but I get horrible clipping when it is anything higher than 10%

I'm running "raw" at the minute with default settings. I will not be using anything else because the idea of "autotune" on FFB makes my mind explode.

Thanks for your shares!

Maybe raw is the most realistic one, but the wheel feels much better & smoother with the Informative type! There is also not that much clipping for me..

Ah ok thanks, I’ll try out informative tonight

The problem with informative and immersive is the "autotune". When you see people complaining about their FFB changing while playing, I bet it's because of that. If you could turn it on and off so you choose when it configures itself that would perhaps work but automatic adjustment is just a recipe for disaster in my opinion.

Anyone has other settings? I dunno, the gt3 cars feel very good, the street cars are also not bad & the rally cars are nice to drive too, but the karts are just horrible with the g27.. I also heared that the Formula cars don't feel very good with the g27, I have to test it.. Also you can`t really drift in Project Cars 2. In assetto it's so easy and nice because you feel what the car is doing. In PC2 it's nearly impossible, you get instant overstearing and not really the feedback that you need to drift a car over longer distances.

I'm an huge Assetto Corsa fan, so wish PC2 had the ffb of Assetto too. Anyone experienced the same issues?

Yup, same experience with me. Most of the cars feel fine and the karts clip like crazy.

Exactly! It sucks, but I don't think that you can do much to fix this, it's the game's programmation..

Normally I only drive the racecars and the street cars, so it's fine but still. I guess everyone with a g27/g29 has this problem.

On PC you should leave the Gain at 100 and use Volume for that overall strength.

You guys should try jack spades standard low compression files. Feels like raw but without the clipping on high forces and the low forces have a that boost so there is not any ffb deadzone and you feel the subtle effects easier.

I have a relatively low FFB strength set on my wheel, and find its feels better than turning up volume high.

100 80 75 20 feels good with a g27

Thank you for the answer! I just tried the Jack Spades FFB files.. I don't see any difference between the Jack Spades files and the "raw" type ingame..

I used the low comp alternative preset. I get much more clipping with it then before..

What are your Logitech Profiler settings?

be sure to change the flavour to custom after putting your chosen file in place.
WhipFx Oct 1, 2017 @ 4:11am
I tested exactly the settings that you have, it's still worse then the default settings. I think I just leave it to "informative" feels the most realsitic to me and it's also the smoothest.
