FOV settings calculation
Hi,

I wonder, is FOV settings the same as Pcars 1 ? With a 24" monitor calculate FOV based on Pcars 1 give me 47 a bit to low I think.

Thanks

Definitely not the same as PJcars 1, I did all the same FOV/Speed sensitive/Cockpit ect. as I had set in PJcars1 and definetly felt very strange. I needed to increase all the numbers more from the first one.

I tried that link that RakomVkitay posted but for me it gave a very unrealistic number for my screen /sitting distance of 24" for my (24" 16:9 monitor) gave me 47hfov tried it anyway but... just NO. certainly didn't match what I see, and it felt so slow it was hard to guage my speed coming up onto a turn. I know it's just a general guide really but didn't work for me. I bumped it all the way up to 85 for now.

My suggestion is to go to a test track, then change the FOV for the view you use so it matches what you think you see in real life sitting still, then from there change the speed sensitivity options.

Not really immersive, i dit the same, and the result is 35° fov on a 27" ..
You have to assign keybords touchs to increase or decrease the fov in game and try !

FOV affects gameplay. Not just for visual prefs Koly. Try driving a real car from the back seat.
