GTX 1070 Flashing LED when loading game
never had any game that could control my gpu led pattern, but it's happening right now everytime i launch pcars 2 even if i turn off my gtx 1070 led lights (using nvidia led visualizer) before launching the game it starts to blink from zero to maximum brightness and then when it reaches game menu the led goes off, only to slowly return it's brightness during races or replays. this kind of pattern is something like pcars 2 are trying to sync my gpu's temperature ou even fan speed or something else to show it using my gpu's led intensity...

i don't know if someone are going to even understand what kind of issue i'm having, other than this i'm loving the game, zero stuttering everything so far seems even better pcars 1, still using controller to setup graphics & etc, will try my g27 later...

ps: fro anyone having issues with stuttering try using windowed and then using 'borderless gaming' app, works 100% for me...

Having the exact same issue. 1080Ti Founders Edition. Is yours a founders too? I have an EVGA SC2 1080Ti as the top card for SLI, and those LEDs are just fine.

not founders edition, mine is 1070 EVGA SC, i suspect the game is assuming control of gpu's led behavior, but when quitting and going back to windows the leds are back to default brightness and static pattern... search every nvidia and pcars forum didn't find nothing about it...

same here or kinda, just had my zotac gtx 1070 flashing , tried checking for update and find one on Geforce experience.

had this before and after updating nvidia driver, still didn't find any official info about it on pcars 2 forums... never saw any game doing this kind of thing on a gpu...

Yeah I get this too and occasional stutter/lock up of the game briefly

I also get LED blinking on my 960 (MSI) while loading and throughout playing... Doesn't seem to affect performance at least.

i really hope sms fix this in next patch because it's been like this months ago (many reports coming from people who played pcars 2 during development), it really pisses me off how something so nonsense like this can still be happening? how complex can it be to simply fix the game to stop messing with gpu's lights? i think i'll be playing forza from now on until sms fix this problem, because i don't have spare money to buy another gpu in case the worst happens, and worst: WE STILL DON'T HAVE ANY OFFICIAL WORD FROM SLIGHTLY MAD ABOUT THIS!

my EVGA 1080ti FE does it also,which is quite amusing because i dont have any way to affect that light or turn it off, looks awful and tacky through the window :P PCar2 devs do me a favour and set a switch ingame to switch it off please :)

Same with Titan Xp, flashing GEFORCE GTX LED and even turns off for a while. I dont have any control over LED either. It can come back on in game but seems to be dim.

It's killing your card I had to send my card back to NVidia they sent me a new one since I only had it 2 months but they told me not to play pcars2 no more in till the game makers fix this. I email SMS and they has not got back with me yet. so at the end of the day stop playing this game because when the game makers don't no what it is bc if they did they would have said something by now and the video card makers don't no what it is. so nobody is going to buy you a new card but you so don't throw away your money that you spent on your card
