G25 not recognized

Hi there,
I didnt drive one lap, because no controller without keyboard is working in my case. G25 is not recognized at all, no matter where I turn the wheel, or press pedal, nothing happens, it's really ridiculous.
Does anybody has a solution for that?

My G27 pedals setup as a separate usb device, wouldn't register, but once I reconfigured it using the windows 'Device and Printers' option, not the logitech profiler, the game recognised it, after I did a restart of the game.

Is not related to the game, look at your windows 10 settings rather. Does w10 recognize your wheel correctly? Used to have the same issue with my g27, it's due to windows 10.had to reinstall the drivers and profiler several times after completely erasing all occurrence of the wheel in windows registers... Ok, my G25 is working now.... hidden at the bottom of the Control Scheme list of options is a "Reset to defaults" option. Selected this and restarted game, was then able to calibrate my G25.

In 1 hour of gameplay (aka trying to get it to play audio) it seems Pcars 2 just fails at the things any other application can do with its eyese closed. What its like actually driving I have no idea as I havent got that far and driving with no audio is totally useless.

Seems many people cant get certain USB devices to be recognized, windows can see them all and use them all. Any other game can see them and use them but SMS even managed to stuff this simple key part of a pc game.

Hiding this forum in off topic too is a good laugh, wouldnt nearly all these threads be general discussion? off topic would be not discussing the game at all.

I uninstalled logitech software, installed it again. It doesnt work with and without.

It is a total waste of time posting technical issues on steam, as steam forums tend to be littered with people that have the same problems as you, and don't know how to fix it.

Make sure you have the old profiler (5.10 something?), not the new one.

Solution for G25 not working with Logitech Driver update.

This is what I did to eventually enable my G25.

Right clicked logitech profiler icon on task bar (the profiler was not open) and click exit.
Go to Device Manager and the G25 was under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, I right clicked to uninstall.
Then to View in Human Interface Devices (still in Device Manager) and clicked Show Hidden Devices
Under Human Interface Devices and on list I found 2 x Logitech Virtual HID devices that were not related to logitech keyboards or mouse. I deleted them both.

Then exited from Device Manager and went to C: drive where the logitech folder was, and deleted it.
Shut down computer.
Restarted computer without the G25 USB connected, ran the 510 software from this website (x64 for my system). Opened it and it ran to completion, then opened the Logitech Profiler and then plugged in my wheel and the G25 became visible.

This is how I made my PC see the G25, it may not work for your computer. The most important part I was missing previously selecting, Show Hidden Devices, in Device Manager, which revealed the two HID devices that had to be deleted first.

To all, who have the same problem as I had. Go to option(in game)steering scroll down to the end and make a reset. In my case it worked, I can play now.
