FIXED: Using T300RS, cars feel weightless, very poor FFB
EDIT:
After going through wheel calibration in Pcars 2 and adjusting my FFB settings as Kondor999 suggested, I'm very happy with the FFB now:

In TM control panel:
All 100%.
900deg (of course).

In Game:
Flavor: Informative
Gain: 70
Volume: 70
Tone: 70
FX: 50

OLD:
My initial impression is that the cars feel like they have no weight and I'm guessing that maybe the default FFB settings for my Thrustmaster T300RS are terrible. Anyone have any recommendations on improving the FFB for the T300RS?

same problem here. have you changed any settings ingame?

I'm curious if anyone has decent settings. I tried 540 and 720 DOR so far with basically default thrustmaster settings. In game I messed around with steering sensitivity and a few other things. I can't seem to catch the car when it loses grip, it's like I'm driving on ice.

I have the very similar TX wheel, and I've got fairly good FFb with these settings:

All 100%.
900deg (of course).

Flavor: Informative
Gain: 70
Volume: 70
Tone: 70
FX: 50

That's after literally just about 45 minutes. But already it feels similar to Raceroom with many of the cars I tried.

So far, the FFB isn't as good as AC or Raceroom, but it's good enough to tell you what the car's doing.

The "Tone" setting is really critical. If you set it too low, the FFB is very "sharp" and crammed into a small range of wheel movement. If too high, it "smears out" the FFB to the point where you can't tell what's happening.

I've only changed FFB from 'raw' to 'immersive' and notice no difference. Both are terrible. It's odd because PCars recognizes my T300RS so I'd think it would have FFB settings specifically for it like Assetto does.

I bought from GMG so I guess I can't get a refund.

no FFB at all on the logitech momo , has to be a bug

you know what's also interesting? you can't reset back to the default values. there IS a reset to defaults button in 'control scheme' but it doesn't reset any of the config values or FFB. Soo.. I have no idea how to do that.

I went through the wheel calibration and adjusted to your settings and I think the FFB is pretty good now. Thanks!

yeah that above works well. it's really tough to keep a car sideways, this will take some getting used to.

Similar settings. Depends though on the car, light on some, fine on others. So I bind buttons now to Volume and Tone. My question is, while on track, since I can adjust Vol/Tone with buttons, is there a way to see the adjusted settings (hud or on screen, or in VR hud)?

It definitely does. The Porsche 911 GT3 for example has really good, strong FFB but the Enzo Ferrari is really light.

I fiddled with the suggested setup and seems like I tuned it to something I liked more (cars feel heavier, more pronounced, but still can feel kerbs)

Flavour: Informative
Gain: 100
Volume: 80
Tone: 70
FX: 95

Really like how you can feel the weight of the car transfer in this game.

Running a T300RS, feels poor. Do you get Shift-Feedback with your current Setting?

In Project Cars 1 the Audi 90 kicked your teeth in, when you shifted up or down. Getting no feedback at all from this car in PC2.
