external config:
1.switch the MODE of the wheel on PS3 , by using the external switcher on the wheel(only for T300 RS like wheels)
2.plugin the shifter to USB 2.0 port of your PC(must be USB 2.0)
3.make sure Windows detects both the wheel and the shifter.
4.update the wheel and the shifter to the latest software
5.calibrate from Windows the wheel and the shifter.
Start the PC 2 game.
6.Go to CONTROLS->CONTROL SCHEME and do the followings:
type->Wheel
Model->Custom Wheel(even if the game has presets for your wheel, don't use them)
Pedal Type->Separate
Automatic Clutch->Off
Gearing->Manual
7.Head on to EDIT ASSIGNMENTS->Motion
then MAP all the input manually
8.When you reach the gear inputs, for each gear input, move the shifter to the corresponding
gear then back to NEUTRAL , and the gear will be mapped.
And that's it.
PS: i've had the same problem and solve it as described above using the PC2 demo version.
Yessss!! Thanks!
EDIT:
The TH8RS comes with its own control panel in the windows gamecontroller settings. There you can choose between 8 gears, sequential ♥♥♥♥ and enable/disable the y-axis for use as a handbrake.
Now everything runs great.
