TrackIR?
Heard of it?

Why doesnt it work? The first game had it, so I assumed this one would right out of the box, but Im either missing something or support for trackIR is not implemented...yet.

Anyone know something I dont?

Try to run in Steam VR mode

Run the game in Steam VR mode and make sure your camera is in helmet cam. It's the only camera in which TrackIR will work. You can hide the helmet and blur effect in the settings.

Go into Options > System > Set shared memory to Project Cars 2. Make sure you are still running the game in steam VR mode though. That setting just lets the game communicate with TrackIRs software.

My friend said that enabling vr mode it tracks the trackir and his works. I'm gonna ask further details as soon as i catch him.

I think it might have been this that got it working for me.

NOTHING is fine.
This (VR-Mode) works only as long as you have no VR !
I have both (HTC as Oculus) and TrackIR in PC2 is with VR mode "IMPOSSIBLE" !!!

Not sure about that. I have Oculus and can disable the Oculus service and run Project Cars with Facetrack NoIR and a tobii eye tracker. It's not good enough for my liking, so I don't use it, but it works.

Impossible also implies you cannot unplug your devices. If your not using it, why not?
I mean, its not ideal, perhaps, but its also not impossible.
