So the online championship is me creating and hosting something that no one else can see unless i invite them... GREAT JOB!!! And also i need to search foruns and ask to get invited... still keeping Iracing subscription!
I was really looking forward to have the online championship on the table, and now we finally have it. It's great and we're happy to have it.
But the way I see it, that it's a relatively private mode in the game and it's really hard to find a decent competition, well organized and something that has a big competitive index (lot of participants, bigger challenge, etc..)
I would really like to stop my subscription on iRacing, since it's expensive (spent almost 500 dollar already and only playing 6 month with it), and the graphics and physics is not as good as PC2. Unfortunately this is not the case at the moment because of the way they running their game is just unique and it offers a continous gaming experience while u since participation on a competition. You don't have to wait for 1 race in the competition, but you can try many times.
I'm really missing a similar feature like that, having it in PC2. I believe it would be possible to host official competitions and races like in iRacing, and it would be 'just' an extension for the recently added online competition feature.
Do you see any chance having this feature in the game, so iRacing guys can completely cancel their subscription? I'd even pay for that DLC, even 100 dollar. If it's a one-off thing then I'd be more than happy to spend that money on PC2.
Oh and keep up the good work, the game is fascinating!
Cheers!
You can be sure it's not the first time they hear that from sim racers.
For some reason no sim that came out after iRacing copied that system although the MP service is the only remaining reason why iRacing is still alive and offering awesome online racing 10 years after release. Seems like other companies don't want to have that kind of success.
