Edit. What is wrong with this game?! I tried to create a custom wheel, therefore i have to map the buttons (Turn left/right etc.) well.. THAT DOESNT WORK. i click on the thing that i want to assing, then i click the button, but it just doesnt accept it.
You have to ensure you have the correct drivers (see my post above).
Any other advice is irrelevant unless you have the correct drivers installed.
The profiler contains the correct drivers.
You don’t need to use custom wheel as the DFGT wheel is supported by the game and it still allows you to map buttons to your liking.
The thing with the button not mapping is gone, was a bug aswell.
Does your wheel centre when you start your PC?
It’s definitely not the game as my DFGT works fine.
Sorry I couldn’t help. Probably a good idea to take a look at the official forums and maybe ask for help over there.
Hope you get it sorted.
I actually asked at the forums, on there im not the only one :/ But no help yet..
Controller type: Wheel
Manufacturer:Logitech
Type: Driving Force GT (not just Driving Force, that's a different wheel)
Transmission is manual, and peddles are separate.
I'm assuming you set it all up that way? Fortunately for me that's all I had to do to get it working.
Also, make sure you do this in the main menu, not after you've launched a track. If you go into a track to practice or something you can no longer make changes to your controls. You want to do this all in the main menu. Also, I had a problem where my brakes were not mapped to my peddles, so I had to go into the button configuration to change that configuration.
Good luck!
