I tried DRS, with max downforce setting. Still less downforce than the ai has so i have slower cornering speed, and still too slow on a straight. The AI is cheating basically.
Good to hear, but i think the Ai is at fault here. They are too fast in some sectors, as if they had way more downforce than what the car is capable of, while their top speed is not penalized. Either that or the player driven car doesn't have enough downforce. The default setup which has, i believe, 10 front wing and 14 rear wing drives more like a vintage formula 1 car, it's ridiculous.
People are reporting they are faster using the the Formula Renault in the demo verse the current retail release version (given the same track). So there is some work to the tires coming.
Glad to hear this. Is there any way i can retire from this championship and start a different one?
