First was the GT86, the rocket bunny that drives like a drunken bunny. And when you think you are at the bottom a tranquilized walrus comes in. Named the Mustang boss.
But then the big surprise, the mustang RTR is fun to drive. Heavy too, but on faster tracks like road america its fun. And it drives like a race car, not a bathtube.
Tested the M3 GT4 too, and it was a fail. But it seems i have general problems with the grip in hockenheim in PC2, so i will test it on a other track tomorow, togehter with the other cars.
You have to mess with camber, spring rate, anti-roll, and final drive to make the GT4 fun to drive.
Tried the M3 in Monza, but still not my cup of tea. But there are 4 others in GT4, and in Assetto i love the porsche. Maybe here to :-)
It oversteers like crazy when you lift off - much more than cars I expect to do it. And the last race in the GT5 career at Brands Hatch seems almost impossible to win since the rain tires makes you much slower than the AI on high settings.
As far as "limited freetime?" I'm killing the AI opponents now that I tubed the m3. The biggest drawback of GT4 is the rolling start. Been away for a week. Hope patch 2.0 makes a difference.
