But I think when you build the racing driver seat you would have to tear down the whole car and build the stearing arm in a different location would be more of a hassle than just staying on one side of the car. Most world motor sports cars are left hand side driving, but most Euro sports are right. They are accurately modling the cars as to their actual motorsport driving side. So most of the GT1 class is right hand side driving and the LMP1.
You could always use the middle cockpit cam to compinsate for this issue or windsheild cam.
Thank you for the reasoning I play in VR though so really need to be First person it feels like I am in the cars in PCars 1 its pretty awesome but thank you anyways :)
Both cars from JAPANESE DLC !!
Where is your source for European cars having the steering on the right? Everything I see is steering on the left.
In order to move the steering from the left to the right on a real car, there are seats that are non-sided and steering racks cost the same to manufacture. The whole dash is swapped out with the one for the appropriate market. For race purposes, many electronics are removed anyway.
For what it's worth, I prefer right side of the car to race otherwise, bumper/bonnet cam.
I think the usage of the word "European" is not the proper context. Most folks in North America see the UK as representing "all of Europe" (where the UK is right-side drive). I think the statement just down to a misuse of the word.
