character customization?
would be cool if we could choose a driver face and overall colors/ helmet lke in f1 2016-- anyone know if this is a feature?

Why? you cant see other drivers like they cant see you, hell you cant even see your own driver.

You should check out the sims. I hear they cater very well for that kind of stuff. This game is for racing :D

Wow, how dare I want deeper immerssion and god forbid, customisation. I think a feature like that would be cool-- you could have podiums and ♥♥♥♥.

Why? they had a fake twitter feed for your profile in career mode in pc 1, I think it'd be a cool feature to have a driver pic or w/e

Immersion comes from gameplay, not the type of shoes your driver can be equipped with. If you can't see what you look like when you're playing, what's the point?

A lot of these people really lack imagination (being edgy AF is trendy nowadays). This would actually be pretty neat. While it's true that most people wouldn't notice it unless they show the avatar in the menus, people in VR could look down at their custom appendages. I'd love to race around as Bender (or even just wearing a custom colored suit and helmet). They could take it a step further and let us see the avatars of other players in their cars during online races.

LOL all I asked for was male or female driver customization but man you laid it into this guy. But ya sounds more of a silly thing to do to customize your helmet. I'd rather have more cars or liveries.

Customization is a great idea. And a podium feature would be amazing.

What would also enhance things would be an in-game car livery designer feature.
Based around the current in-game sponsers
