We have just fixed a packaging and installation issue. If the game didn't start for you after installing it, an update should fix it. We missed a dependency on DirectX 9 DLLs, despite the game uses DirectX 11 for most things. This would happen if you haven't used many games in your computer before (new computer?), and it can also be manually fixed by installing the DirectX 9 runtime. Thanks Guillem and Gemma for helping pinpoint this!

Hi Fnc2,

Thank you for your interest in the game! We are a pretty small team, and we have been focusing on getting the version ready for Early Access in the last months. We have just started to promote it two days ago! :steamhappy:

For now there are some external First Impression videos like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyZ_ml-pZxI but they basically play the tutorial missions. We hope there is more coverage soon!

I do not understand because you have to hide talks to resolve an error in a game, things like Linux are not made, but anyway ... I accept your invitation for friendship. But I only speak Spanish, sorry for the inconvenience, however google translator is my friend.

No problem with Spanish. The private conversation is to requests some more tests using cheatcodes that we don't want to publish ;). We'll post here when we fix the issue!

Thanks!

A small update on the Linux crash. We can reproduce it in one of our systems and it happens inside the nvidia driver. We are trying to figure out the fix now...

The Linux nasty crash on NVidia cards *should* be fixed in the latest update! Hooray!

ok, solved the crash on init, thanks... but a new problem there are here... when I finish a level the game gets stuck and does not pass to the next level, having to go out with alt + F4.

Hmmm... Thanks for reporting it! We are investigating it, now.

Thanks, solved too, thanks very much

hello, new problem here:

if I die at any level the menu is locked with the result of the previous bug and have to exit the game using ALT + F4. But only if I die, if I advance normally (without dying) no problem.

Are the minimum system requirements final or are they likely to drop when you get to optimizing later in development? I realize my Linux laptop isn't near the current requirements, but I decided to buy the game anyway, since I can run most things on it on low settings, like The Talos Principle and Borderlands 2 (plus I have a desktop Linux computer which is significantly better suited for gaming, though I prefer gaming on the couch).

I'm able to run the game smoothly, even with higher settings (lags a bit on Epic though), but I have this issue where everything is flooded in light, so I can't really see much. The issue gradually decrease with higher settings, but it doesn't go away. I'm on Linux Mint 17 KDE with a GeForce GT 630M + Nvidia 340.93 drivers. I'll try it out on my desktop computer tonight and see what happens.

I forgot since I apparently haven't really used my desktop computer in quite a while, but it's 32 bit and not nearly as capable as I imagined it to be. The store page doesn't say, but the game is only 64 bit, so it doesn't launch at all on this computer. If it had, I think it would barely beat the minimum requirements with its GeForce GTX 550 Ti graphics card. Looks like I won't be able to play this game, but at least it has taught me that my next hardware investment should be a new Linux PC.
