Are they cheaters?

I'm very new to this game but confused, at level 4 and maxed out (6 Crew) yet other ships of the same level (4) have crews of 10+

Others seem to have buildings unavailable to me, or can all these things be purchased in advance with bucks?

They are more than likely long time players that have acquired them from st sales from shop and in app purchases or dove stores.

Sadly not. Just faced someone with 17 crew, I counted the extra rooms and it had no fleet room, should not have had more than 13 crew. 4 out of nowhere.

Can’t really tell you without the exact name of the ship or a screenshot of it. Hopefully it’s not a dev ship you are mentioning since their ships have admin rights in game.

I've encountered overpowered ships constantly since I started. Weirdly there is always a 100% chance to escape from those fights.

I also had a day where I pvp'ed vs a under powered ship 7 times in a row and all 7 had exactly the same layout / crew but different names, and then there is the ones with nearly identical names... I think there are a lot of randomly generated parts of the PVP system.

Nevermind, I'm used to winning around 50% of pvp matches and am very used to surrendering vs the cheat ships.
