The Fellowship struggled through the swamp for days. After a fortnight, their supplies running dangerously low, Aldendorf gave a cry.
"Look! There! A light!"
He raced off to the west, with the rest of the party in tow. They protested to Aldendorf that he was simply seeing things, but he would have none of it. "It must be a guide out of this hellish place," he insisted, and set off again; but he fell into a pool of dark mud that dragged him down as though he were being pulled under by many clinging hands.
Using branches from a nearby tree, the others frantically worked to build a safe path to reach him, but their construction collapsed under their weight just as they thought they could save their friend, and the entire party dropped into the muck and rapidly disappeared.
Bubbles arose from the mire for several minutes. And then all was still.
@pendantry - Awesome story! Keep an eye on the forums, there's a competition coming :)

Thank you, kind sir! Your awesome game demands no less of me.
... 'competition', huh? Sounds intriguing...
And yes, seeing the entire HUD would be helpful indeed.
Whoops! The wonders of modern technology...
I beg your pardon, milady!
You have to check the party load, and individual member load too.
