Windows 10, latest main branch (1.10), GPU nvidia 980 Ti.

I think the icons are small because it's 3840x2160 resolution

Research points seem too precious not to spend on weapons and armor. What do you prioritize for gathering research?

Yeah, you need weapons and armor, but I think initially, it's more important to get a reliable crafting process going so you can get to better resources faster, and of course to weapons and armor. Just my personal opinion. :)

how u get all those research pts in that many turns?
Obsidian and moonstone are in the same branch, so it's 5 research points total, easily realizable by turn 126.

Just have crafters make stuff in town over and over again with whatever spare mats you have, disassemble them to get some back, rinse, repeat.

I find dragon leather to be overly abundant in games with a lot of desert terrain. In my games, I`ve seen 2 dragon leather in same camp spot many times. It is perhaps the most abundant top material.

Past quartz I assume? Still haven't ever seen a populated tree with all the branches filled out.

this is weird. I always research resources way before spending points on weapons and armor. What's the point of having weapons and armor made of iron?

This is usually my rough order of research:

1. Steel
2. Scaled leather
3. 1-handed sword
4. Dragon leather
5. Light armor
6. Quartz
7. Obsidian
8. Cabbage field
9. Moonstone

and then medium armor and clubs + warhammers.
screeg Dec 18, 2015 @ 3:31pm
why do you prefer swords to spears or warhammers?
