Though lately I am experimenting with baking/roasting first and it's great too ;) But costs you a little bit of research early on.
Btw in combination with spidersilk nimblewood has no advantage over wicker. Both cap at gathering 5, although nimblewood is a full tier better than it's precursor wicker. That's how good tier two material spidersilk is.
This is not even end yet! Each of your tools will proc an orc event so you will be able to swap your people with powerful orc every couple turns!!

Oh, I know what event you're talking about. Are you saying that if you give 2 tools to the orcs that the event continues to happen frequently?
No way am i giving up tomko, or bretka or slavka or yan or beregost, well you get the idea. I would give up pineconette though.
What other triggers are there? (Playing on Normal, this is my first game.)
