I really hope it helps for other gamers to make the right choice and try this game.
Hello
any chance for a good discount in upcoming Steam winter/holiday sale? I love
art-based games and I want to buy however Steam using my location's currency
so game more expensive than US dollars, or I'm missing something here??
Sorry, but we do not have plans to give more discount than it is at the moment. I believe we do not charge a lot for our game as a base price, and US price does not have VAT so its cheaper than most EU countries. I live in UK and steam always sets highest prices for us, so I know the pain, but wherever you live, game should give you good value for the price :)
thank you
Finally rock Paper Shotgun found you as well.....They are impressed....rushed a playthrough on their website to inform us gamers....Except no reviews or articles on that site the next few days. All team is busy playing Thea now lol
There is many reason I like the game so much. One is nostalgia. It brings me back to my childhood of playing my first games. That feeling is almost impossible to create again and you did it. Second I love reading, but not in games. You have such a great storyteller in your team I keep reading them and never skip them. The artwork reminds me of my youth as well. It's a specific artform you need patience for and you don't see it that much nowadays. Most artwork is "produced" with computer. Yours is handcrafted. Disciples artwork was great as well but they messed up their last game a little bit. I love the attention for detail on every aspect. I even find out today that the soundeffects fit great in every part of the game and that background themes changing during different challenges. When I don't play I'm humming your soundtrack. That is wonderful. You did such a great job by creating this. Like the others say in your forum. You made a stale genre fresh and must be nominated to GOTY
Btw tomorrow I buy an extra copy as early Christmas present for my nephew.
P.S. If you want to show your love for me can you give me a dog as a pet in my town in one of the DLC? I always love to roleplay my way out and my IRL dog is my best friend I want him to be part of your game lol
I really want a dog now! Just don't name him Dogmeat. :)
Keep the discount going little longer !! ;)))
I don't mean to influence your opinion, and you should definitely give an accurate review if you write one.
Yes, the game is not as polished as many games with higher budgets, but the 4-person indie team has made unbelievable progress in implementing requested features, fixing bugs, etc. I really wonder if they get more than a couple of hours of sleep. They are always active on the forums, digging into things, and trying to provide the best player experience possible. Perhaps holding your review until you see further improvement is a good idea? :)
This brings the game on top of the list of "new releases" on number 1.
If you scroll to the full list of Metacritic and tab userscore it's on number 1 (!) on tab new releases and on number 2 (!) of all PC releases all time.
That is the place next to Battlefield 1942 Deluxe and on top of Planescape Torment, HOMM III, Baldurs gate II and all Sid Meiers games.
