The tool-tip says there's a chance every day (or turn, I forgot I'm at work now) a kid might be born. So, every turn/day I get a chance to find a kid but I don't know.. I got 10 kids the first few turns then 60+ turns and no kid at all.
Do, I get a kid for every Cabbage Field I "create" which means I need to demolish then recreate another for a new kid?
I have only 3 cabbage patches but I tore them down and remade them out of top tier materials. They provide chances for more children + humans.
In that same vein, a top end stockade made from elven wood gives me a chance for elves to come join. My top tier barracks has had animals join my village.
Also, I had 6 kids, only 2 have grown up in 48 turns snce the latest patch. Before that they grew up a lot fatser.
It's RNG, you are just getting screwed.
However, try exploring the world. Some of the missions that pop up will require you to save children, and then you can bring them to your village to "grow up".
Yeah I get those events but I want to know more about the algorithm of the cabbage field. I mean come on; few turns 10 children then 80+ turns no children then few turns BAM 19 children... this doesn't feel right.
Is there a way to tell how does this work? Is it true as the tool tip indicated that every turn you get a chance for one kid?
Well, now that I have 19 children I no longer have problems with this issue. But it would be great to know how this works exactly.
