Is the quest path the only way to finish this even at the lowest settings?
Yeah, I looked at the Domination Victory requirement, and I just saw that 4x skull fight requirement. That's virtually impossible, so I am not sure if I can even do it on lowest difficulties, because I've never quested that much that early. I guess I will have to try a new aggressive strategy ;)
I should've easily gotten it the last game, except I couldn't find the final Cosmic Quest marker. And when I found it, I was maybe 2 turns too late. Fug.
So stupid...
I finally did it. It was just a pain, and it required me to try 3 different games at lowest difficulty and the smallest map. I don't mind achievements that are hard, but I do have problems with achievements that 1) make you go way out of normal mode of play to get them; and 2) make you play in the easiest difficulties to get them. Just a bad Achievement design, in my opinion.
Yup, unfortunately so. The worst are the achievements that require you to deliberately play BADLY. For instance, a lot of games reward you with achievements if you die x number of times or if you die in act 1, etc. I find those conceptually incomprehensible, because you have not "achieved" anything.
