Are wheat nodes not being generated for anyone else?

I just finished a game on a small map and while there was plenty of other food resources and multiple per food type, my map had no wheat for me to harvest. All of it I got was from events or the well.

So no bread for me. I mean there was a moonstone and dragon bone spot 3 turns away from my village, but no wheat.

In other games I've noticed that wheat was either rare or on larger maps, sometimes the harvest node is very far away when there is one.

Well wheat is the best of all the food nodes but In the last game I had it had 4 nodes across the map so it's still appearing for me. Seems like you were just unlucky.

yeah, not having wheat on a small map is not uncommon. played buncha games on small maps, wheat shows up I dunno . . . not a lot.
