French translation : google translate !?
The game is quite unplayable using the french translation. I don't know who translated it but he was not a native french speaker. The translation feel more like "google translate" that a human translation. It's ugly.

Yep, translator is clearly bad, but with the community we are working on a better translation, all information are available here http://steamcommunity.com/app/378720/discussions/3/357285398699085958/

You can get the last translated files and if you want to help we will be happy to have more people ;)

We are very sorry for that translation. I feel that with the next game if we consider investing in any translaction (which cost ~15000 euro per language in Thea 1 and second title will have about twice as much or more text) I think its much better to add content of that value instead... And build much better tools for community to make and share their own translations. For that money times number of languages(4) if you compare it with the initial cost of Thea whole content (~10k euro) it just kills us to ever again invest in something like that :(
That's a good idea. When players love a game, a part of them is happy to help dev team to make it better. An ingame tool to manage translation progress is a very good idea !
just way more Moding tools in general. XML, .JSON file formats. text equation to code options for small sharp classes. Unfortunately these things all add dev time, and loading time. . . .but might never the less be worth the effort and time.

yes, but to be good they need to be planned form teh begining of the project so that project have neough roots to have those tools plug to. Thea would not woth with advanced scripting and tools, but next title could gain much more form that than overpriced localization XD

khash can you give us any hints about your next title?
since you called thea "thea 1" i suppose thats an indirect way of announcing thea 2? ;)
by the way if your team is still looking for a good german localization, i would love to apply for that :)
There has been talkabout making a sub-forum for any community localizations to any language.

If you want you can post "Please sticky this, or subforum this for a community German Localization" and it will probably happen.
