What do you mean I can't merge expiditions?
I have an overloaded party, starving, and I can't send a rescue party to merge with them and exchange loads?! Come oooooon. You're killing me here. Literally.

Figured it out. You have to camp first, and then have the other expedition join.

You dont have to camp. You can go the inventory screen and transfer items from one party to the other.
