This game has been cancelled

Hey guys. I DM'd a person involved with this project on Twitter about progress on the next episode. To surmise our conversation regarding Blues and Bullets, they told me that they haven't been called in for work on the project in about a year, said that the studio has completely run out of money due to a failed mobile port, and that the company has no full time employees. So, no more Blues and Bullets episodes, the game is done. You can assume this post is a rumor, but I'd expect an official announcement soon. Just wanted to warn people about what they were getting into.

Welp, if this is true, I guess I can finally delete the game from my library. Sad because it was an interesting game. I hope people who bought the season pass will get a refund easily from Steam.

Aaaaand this is why I don't pre-buy entire seasons of episodic games. Be it Telltale or otherwise. Apart from the price being better at the conclusion of all eps and not needing to wait on cliffhangers; things like this can occur.

Got episode 1 from a Bundlestars indie bundle. Maybe I'll look into picking up the now 'finale' ep 2 during a 75% off sale in the future. Bit of a shame =(

I'd love to be completely wrong about this, I really enjoyed the first two episodes, but that statement doesn't sound very optimistic. Hopefully the devs will communicate with us a bit more about what "difficult times" means and when we can expect another release. Maybe they're trying to find new funding or need a kickstarter campaign to finish the game.

I know im not the only one who feels that the devs lack of communication has resulted in
the games reviews being full of warnings which has lost them lots more game sales which could help fund its completion

The lenght of time the game is taking to release is another reason putting some off ,and others will only buy once its a finished game

When this company is trying to sell a yet unfinished game to everyone its strange that there not engaging with the public answering basic questions put to them on any media platform and so therefore it comes across as there stalling for time because the company is in trouble

No one wants blues and bullets to fail but some of there decisions as a company have made this situation happen in my opinion and has lost our trust and tarnished there reputation

It's been almost a month since this post was started. The dev hasn't denied any of this info. Though it's not 100% true, this makes this info is most likely true..

Luckily, I never buy episodic games till all the episodes are out (that includes telltales)

They did a quick tweet in the car on the way to the club, or whatever. This game is in the pail. It would be fine for you to be hopeful that it isn't. It was a fun game while it lasted. The facts are, nobody with any clout has come by this forum in a very long time to say otherwise. A VERY long time.

I'd put out a quick tweet also, if I knew that only a few folks would see it. One or two would come here to say.. hey look what I saw, and even a few more would say hey look at all the trolls, I bet they are really working on it! More sales to roll through. Shady is shady. Denial is denial. The game is DEAD.

It is very sad, but it just confirmes what i´m doing for a long time now since Telltale pulls this ♥♥♥♥ also everytime (without cancelling tho).

If an Episodic Game offers me all Episodes as single buys (Hitman) i buy the Episode when it comes out so that i first can play when i pay and second can savely walk away when it get´s ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

If an Episodic Game offers Just Buy E1 or E2-E5 or Season Pass E1-E5 then i buy it when it´s done 1 year later in their sale around 5 Bucks.
