Will there be an Act III?

Interested in buying acts 1 & 2 but would rather wait before I start an incomplete game. Anyone know if there are more acts? If so how many will there be?

Considering the circumstances (the very long wait and the silence until now), I think it would be better if Act 3 were the final one, with a proper ending to the series.

I prefer that we get all 7 chapters. Use Kickstarter or Patreon if needed.

We want to stick to the original plan and release 4 chapters. But 'Act 3' will be a brand new game: new engine, new graphic. Basically we will not re-use (almost) any assets from Act 1 and 2.

As long as we have the same point and click style and it doesn't go the way Syberia3 went

Haha, it'll be a different game, but not THAT different. Interface and gameplay will be the same as Act1-2. :).

yeah yeah... another 6 months passed ... we are almost 4 years of waiting after the second act.

Actually, guys, it's not that simple. We started working on the Act 3 game design years ago, and there were many attempts to start the production, but only recently things really kicked in. This episode has gone through an engine change, getting rid of all the previous assets, and most importantly a team reorganization.
We could have put together Act 3 in a shorter time, but we are trying to do better than the previous games.

Have some faith... and patience :D.

Most customers don't expect games to come out really fast and they don't expect game dev to run really smooth. All they want and expect is some feedback or they will create their own theories. So you did the right thing by being open to your customers imo :) Thank you.
