Resolution issue
seems to that the game has no configuration file for resolutions and scale UI.

While inside the game you can change the UI ratio doing that you might lock the game away and will not be able to revert the changes or change or play the game anyhow.

The game has the option to change UI size, but does not prevent selflocking.
Also it does not have a ease to find configurable file to change those option.
The game does not refit the UI into the screen.

So the game does not provide optimum control over resolutions and UI ratios.
That prevents me from playing because i now can't see the button. Can't navigate the game menu buttons with arrows or wasd. Can't click on them because they not fit into the screen where i can see them.

So i am trapped. Can't revert. Reinstalling does not work.
So there is a file some where which holds the information that i need to change, even deleting such file will fix my problem.

But just can't find it. No documents, no appdata, no game's save directory.
So where is this file? sure there is a file somewhere on windows that saves the changes done to the game's options.

I figured it out Zentaki - just go in to your %localappdate% and delete your folder for Ymir. It will reset the whole thing.

thanks.
i found it, no need to delete anything!

I have fixed the problem and could finally have tested the game.
It is all there in the file i was looking for.

Thanks community for any response ;*|

Hello, I'm after running into the same issue. Is there a chance someone could share which file name these settings can be viewed/changed from, please?

yep, already pointed this issue out in an earlier post. Yet no patch to fix this "game breaking bug".

Hi there, seeing no reply yet to this. I've looked it up. Took 5mins of work to fix it. Here it is as follows:
C:\Users\NAME HERE\AppData\Local\Ymir

The file name is "settings"

Open it up with notepad

Scroll down till you find "ui_size "
Change the value number to 1
Then save and exit notepad

There you go hope this helps you and or other out.
