HELP PLEASE? FM 16 STUCK ON STARTUP

Hi guys for cristmas i Got FM16 . I Downloaded logo packs bought the in game editor added custom skins facepacks and real name fixes. After a week of smooth playing i booted up the game. After going past the logos for licensed leagues war child etc i reached the screen with Football Manager 2016 And loading in different languages in the corner. Usually after 30 seconds i reach the game main menu. Today after 10 minutes still o this screen. I Turned off my laptop(Running Windows 10) and restarted same outcome. I Loaded up the demo(only logos installed) Same outcome. Please could somebody help here.

i have the same issue, but to get around it, all i do is CONTROL ALT DELETE, and then cancel task manager and FM16 will then move forward from the black screen.

i've had this from day1 tbh

GUYS IVE FIXED IT!!!!! Look for SI Help from last year copy linked instructions
for delete cache delete preferences and reverification of cache.It will only occur if custom skin is loaded. When playing before logging off go back to normal skin or game fails to load.

Looking at the FAQ can I confirm you've tried the following?

If you receive an XML error message upon launching the game, we would suggest completing the following troubleshooting steps:

First of all, make sure the game is closed before you proceed.

For Windows Vista and Windows 7:
- Click ‘Start’
- Select ‘Computer’
- From the header, select ‘Organize’ dropdown
- Select ‘Folder and Search Options’
- Within here, select the ‘View’ tab and make sure ‘Show Hidden Files and Folders’ is selected
- Navigate to C:\Users\[Your Windows Username]\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016
- Delete the Cache and Preferences folder

For Windows 8 and Windows 10:
- Click ‘File Explorer’ from within the taskbar (or click ‘Desktop/Start’ then type in ‘File Explorer’)
- On the header click ‘View’ and make sure above ‘Show/hide’ that ‘Hidden Items’ is ticked
- Navigate to C:\Users\[Your Windows Username]\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016
- Delete the Cache and Preferences folder

Once you have completed these steps, launch the game.
