Increasing RAM
Was just wondering, if I increase the RAM in my machine, currently got 8GB to 16GB will that make much of a difference in say allowing me to run more leagues with a larger database?

I think so, your processor that you used definitely will make some impact too

I have 32GB and run all leagues with (I think) a large database. Works pretty well, a lttle slow between turns though. Only time it is slow going is when you are out of a job and it searches for all openings, such as at the start of the game.

You can run a large database with 8GB, it just runs slow. I think the processor is the ultimate limiting factor. It has to crunch a lot of numbers,

should i down load the game or buy the cd?

FM is a 32bit game, so it can't actually use more than 4GB of RAM. Going from 4GB to 8GB might help, but, unless you have a lot of stuff running while playing FM, having more than 8GB won't improve perfomance.

Didnt think of that to be honest, bit of a limitation in this day and age though isnt it? Anyone know if this is being addressed in future releases?

Same problems here .. just in fm 2016
